About Elf Week
Each year, the Salvation Army Angel Tree program collects and distributes toys and clothing to thousands of children during the holidays. This year, more than 3,000 children from 1,200 families have registered for the program in the Baltimore area.
In December, thousands of donations pour into the Salvation Army’s main headquarters where they need to be sorted for each child or “Angel” and that’s where Business Volunteers Maryland comes in. Now in our 17th year, we recruit hundreds of volunteers to be part of “Elf Week” and come together to be a part of it all.
Your Team will be treated to the following:
- Heartwarming experience, giving back to children in need.
- An experience to bring your team together, safely!
- Instagram worthy moments
- Elf hats
- Team photos
- Planning and project management from an experienced staff. We handle all the details so you can have a fun-filled experience.
The health and safety of our staff and volunteers is our top priority. We know how important this event is to the community and the spirit of your team. Therefore, we are following these procedures and protocols:
- Masks are mandatory upon entry into the offices and for the duration of your volunteer experience.
- Hand sanitizing stations will be available upon entry and throughout the facility.
- Groups of up to forty people can be accommodated.
- Individuals under the age of 17 are not permitted to participate in the experience.
- Individuals who do not feel well should not attend Elf Week.
For the safety of our staff and volunteers, we are limiting the capacity to 40 people per 90 minute shift. The contribution for each shift is $1,000.
Or, NEW THIS YEAR, you can have the ENTIRE DAY for your whole company to rotate shifts. Bring in participants for a morning session, then take them to lunch in Fed Hill! Rotate in the other part of your staff in the afternoon, then enjoy happy hour as a group! The contribution for this exclusive package is $5000.
