This virtual workshop will provide a guide for attracting and retaining volunteers by creating volunteer experiences that are meaningful and demonstrate impact. Through discussion, data, and case studies, our presenter will share a toolkit for developing effective corporate volunteer experiences that will help to round out your organization’s strategic goals for philanthropic engagement.
Trainer Information
Lauren Novsak is the Nonprofit Services Coordinator for Business Volunteers Maryland, a nonprofit that strengthens the community by making strategic connections between people, businesses, and nonprofits. In this role, she manages many of the organizations nonprofit services including days of service, unique service opportunities, and long-term nonprofit partnerships. Prior to joining Business Volunteers, Lauren completed the Maryland Public Service Scholars Fellowship at The Shriver Center at UMBC and internships with Living Classrooms Foundation, Maryland Public Television, and Stevenson University’s Office of University Advancement. Lauren currently serves on the Stevenson University Alumni Association Board. Lauren graduated magna cum laude from Stevenson University with a B.S. in Business Communication.
