communityBUILD: Building Strategic Partnerships

A formal yet participatory training meant to educate and empower attendees with a roadmap on how to build, manage, and sustain strategic partnerships in the business community.

Trainer Information

Brian Gerardo began his career as a Teach for America corps member, teaching in City Schools before co-founding the Baltimore Dance Crews Project. Dedicated to social innovation, Brian has completed
fellowships with Baltimore Corps, the Open Society Institute-Baltimore, and the Salzburg Global Seminar.

Brian currently leads the GIVE Fellowship program as the Associate Director, Civic Impact, at Business
Volunteers Maryland.

At Business Volunteers we help companies and individuals impact their community in three ways:

  • BUILD through trainings and education
  • CONNECT through engagements and experience
  • CONSULT though impact and leadership
